Dogs, cats, eagles and fish predict winner of the Qatar 2022 World Cup final

The final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar between Argentina and France is highly anticipated by soccer fans, with everyone wondering who will be the winner.

Whoever wins will lift its third World Cup in the country's history.

Fans have made thousands of predictions, but their mascots have also been going viral for predicting the final's winner.

TikTok users shared the predictions of their dogs, cats, turtles, eagles, fish and many more.

Most of the animals predicted that Argentina will be the winner of the 2022 World Cup.

It all started with Paul the Octopus

Paul the Octopus became famous for predicting the correct winner in all eight matches he attempted during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Two fishbowls with the flags of both teams facing each other were placed in front of Paul, who then landed on the winner.

In the final, he chose Spain as the winner over the Netherlands.

Cats, giraffes, sharks, monkeys, dogs, and more have attempted to take Paul's place, but none has been successful.

The life of an octopus is two years and Paul was born in a UK aquarium in 2008 before moving to Sea Life. Paul died of natural causes on October 26, 2010, just a few months after the World Cup in South Africa.
