2017 Fifa Club World Cup: Ronaldo shoots Real Madrid to triumph

Real Madrid is the first club in the history of the Club World Cup to defend it's title.

The Champions League winner and Spanish League champion won Saturday's final in Abu Dhabi against South American champions Gremio Porto Alegre 1-0 (0-0).

The winning goal was scored, of course, by Cristiano Ronaldo, who converted a free kick from about 20 meters in the 53rd minute. The Portuguese player benefited, however, from the fact that the Brazilians left a gap in their defensive wall.
