NATIONS LEAGUE: France beats Germany, Ukraine and Georgia promoted

World Champion France has won the Nations League match against Germany on Tuesday night. After a 1-0 at half time, the French won 2-1 at the Stade de France after two goals from Antoine Griezmann (62nd, 80th / penalties). Toni Kroos scored the first goal from a hand penalty (14).

Germany faces relegation from the elite group of the Nations League after this defeat. After three out of four games, Germany has one point and would be relegated in case of a Dutch victory against the French.

England increased their chances of a semi-final with a 3-2 victory over Spain in Monday's Nations League final. Raheem Sterling (16,38) and Marcus Rashford (30th) made a well-deserved lead in Sevilla at half-time, but Paco Alcacer's (58 ') and a lot of pressure from Spain still kept the Englishmen wobbling until the end.

Ukraine became the first team to seal promotion to League A. The team of coach Andriy Shevchenko prevailed on Tuesday in Kharkiv 1-0 (1-0) against the Czech Republic. The winning goal was scored by Ruslan Malinowskij in the 43rd minute.

In Group D1, Georgia made it through with a 3-0 (2-0) win in Latvia, the fourth victory in their fourth game.
