Liverpool survives a sensational Salzburg comeback

Unbelievable thriller on Anfield Road! Austria's football champions Red Bull Salzburg catch up with Liverpool in the Champions League a 3-0 deficit, but still have to accept the 3: 4 loss after  a strong performance.

Austria's champions lost to defending champion Anfield on Matchday 2 in the Champions League on Matchday 3, 3-0 down 3-1 (1: 3). After Salzburg's 3: 3 equalizer, Mohammed Salah scored the winning goal for Liverpool in the 69th minute. In the group E, Salzburg are third behind Napoli and Liverpool.

Salzburg showed respect for Liverpool in the first half. The "Reds" took advantage of this and went with goals from Sadio Mane (9th), Andrew Robertsen (25th) and Mohamed Salah (36th) seemingly comfortable in the lead. But before the break, Hwang Hee Chan shortened to 1: 3 (39.). After the break, the "Bulls" continued to catch up with Takumi Minamino (56 ') and substitute Erling Haaland (60'). The better end, however, was reserved for Liverpool.
