LIVE: Lille looking more likely

Paris Saint-Germain will be hoping for a return to winning ways as they host Ligue 1 champions Lille at the Parc de Princes on Friday evening.

After a goalless draw with Marseille in their last Ligue 1 outing, PSG find themselves with just a seven point lead over second place Lens, while Lille's defence of their title isn't quite going to plan as they languish in 10th position.

As a result, victory is paramount for Jocelyn Gourvennec's men if they are to have any kind of title challenge. So stay with us in this live blog for the build-up to PSG vs Lille and then updates from the match itself.

PSG vs Lille LIVE: 0-1

This is the start of our PSG vs Lille live blog, with our updates from this Ligue 1 fixture following on from here. As always, the entries nearest the top are the most recent ones.

Minute 30 - GOAL LILLE!

It had been coming! Lille open the scoring through David. Some excellent midfield play from Bamba who finds Yilmaz on the left and he gets to the goal line before crossing low to David, and the young Canadian redirects the ball past Donnarumma from close range.

Minute 20 - No PSG response

Still nothing from PSG as Lille pepper Donnarumma's goal with shots. David has gone closest since that early Yilmaz chance and he couldn't find the target.

Minute 10 - Lille on top

Despite not having the best start to the season, Lille are certainly holding their own against PSG. In fact, the reigning champions are well on top in the game, dominating midfield and looking lively in attack.

Minute 1 - Lille counter attack

Messi loses the ball on the edge of the Lille area, the ball falls to Renato Sanches and he releases David for a swift counter and with Lille having a three to one advantage, the Canadian finds Yilmaz on the edge of the area, but he is denied by a brilliant Donnarumma save.
