Spain may not have won the 2021 Nations League, losing 2-1 to France in the final, but they put in two excellent performances in Milan to defeat Italy and then run the world champions close.
Sergio Busquets, as the captain of La Roja, looked a completely different player from the midfielder who has struggled so much with Barcelona this season. His club teammate Gavi impressed too, while Ferran Torres also had a good tournament.
