Booker takes the Suns for a stroll against the Rockets in Phoenix

The Houston Rockets visited the Phoenix Suns for an attempt to win only their second game of the season. After the most recent season's run that nearly took them to a championship, the Suns had Chris Paul in their lineup to accompany the always dangerous Devin Booker. Tonight, he dropped 27 points against a weak Rockets squad that wasn't able to react in time.

During the second quarter, the visitors appeared to get back in the game with some important moments from Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green. By the end of the second quarter, the Suns were ahead only five points. There was still hope for the Rockets but Devin Booker came to play this evening at the Talking Stick Resort Arena. He dominated all aspects of the game throughout the entire second half.

Chris Paul's defensive aid paid off.

With Booker on a roll, Chris Paul also wanted to leave a mark that could help the Suns maintain that momentum in the second half of the game. He delivered 13 assists that opened a massive gap between both sides without any room for doubts. Phoenix started balling to the point where the advantage was too great to ignore. Houston still needs to learn from their rookie mistakes against more experienced teams like the Suns.

Up next in the NBA, Saturday will present a tough challenge for the Rockets as they visit the Denver Nuggets early in the afternoon. The Suns play at home again, only this time they won't have such an easy matchup when the Atlanta Hawks visit their arena. Devin Booker keeps growing to become one of the best players in the league but not without the always timely help from veteran Chris Paul.
