Floyd Mayweather inspires Caleb Plant to beat Canelo Alvarez
Caleb Plant wants to give his best fight. The IBF super middleweight champion will face Saul Canelo Alvarez on November 6 in Las Vegas, inspired by Floyd Mayweather Jr's style to take the win.
Mayweather's style generated problems for the Mexican boxer, when they faced each other in September 2013. Canelo did not have his best night against the American champion and landed more punches than he could have.
Mayweather saved his energy and, on multiple occasions, counter-punched the Mexican to take the victory. Money was the first opponent to break Canelo's undefeated record, but also the man who helped him the most in his professional maturity.
Plant will copy the Mayweather's style
During his preparation, Caleb Plant has watched videos of Mayweather and has found some of Canelo Alvarez's weaknesses to take away his place as the best boxer in the super middleweight division.
In a YouTube video, the American boxer showed the style he has copied from Floyd Mayweather to prevent the Mexican from hurting him.
I'm not going to give up my fight plan. I know that when we fight, it will be me raising my hand as the winner," he said.
Canelo arrived last night in Las Vegas on his private jet to prepare the final details for his fight against Caleb Plant on Saturday, November 6.
