Ja Morant's Grizzlies tame Paul George's Clippers

Kawhi Leonard's return can't come soon enough for the LA Clippers, especially after tonight's defeat against Ja Morant's Memphis Grizzlies. After losing their winning streak against the Chicago Bulls, it was clear that the Clippers were more lucky than great during that run. Paul George can only do so much in order to help the team, they obviously need the 'Claw' to win more games, especially ones as difficult as tonight. Morant is already blossoming into one of the most electrifying players in the league with some silky moves to show off.

From the moment he started warming up before the game, you could see he was focused to play against the LA Clippers. Morant is arguably one of the most exciting young talents in the NBA's new generation, he if generational. Tonight, he handled the Clippers defense with grace despite Paul George's attempts to get his team back in the game during the second half. PG ended the game with 23 points, he was the most important player for his team. But Ja truly played on another level during the entire game for the Grizzlies. Morant scored 28 points and ended the game as the top scorer.

What's next for Memphis and the Clippers?

Up next for the Clippers, they have to go to New Orleans to face the Pelicans. Until today, they still have a positive 9-6 record that they will attempt to maintain on Friday. Memphis has struggled to find their groove this season but Ja Morant's efforts are helping them improve drastically. After tonight's win, they moved up to an 8-7 record. But they won't play again until Saturday when they visit Minnesota to play the Timberwolves. It's going to be an interesting evening between two of the best youngsters in the NBA: Ja Morant and Anthony Edwards. Who ya got?
