The Premier League is back following the international break and Saturday evening sees a mouth-watering clash between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield. The hosts are just one place above the Gunners, fourth and fifth respectively, and while Jurgen Klopp's side have been impeccable at home, Mikel Arteta's men are on excellent form having won their last three in a row. Andriy Arshavin didn't quite live up to expectation over the course of his time at Arsenal, but the Russian playmaker was on fine form when the Gunners visited Anfield in 2009 as he went on to score four goals in a 4-4 draw.

14:30 BST: Liverpool vs Arsenal preview

Liverpool host Arsenal this coming weekend in what is a classic Premier League fixture that will have fans of English football eagerly awaiting the top flight's return from the third international break of the season.

Despite the Gunners' poor start to the season under Mikel Arteta, they've hit a good run of form of late and are now sitting comfortably in fifth place, just two points behind Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in fourth.

Klopp will have to manage a few absences in his Liverpool team, with Curtis Jones and Roberto Firmino both sidelined. As well as those, James Milner, Joe Gomez, Naby Keita and Harvey Elliott are all out of action.

Despite scares on international duty, Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson are both expected to play, while Jordan Henderson should also be in the squad.

Arteta, meanwhile, has doubts about the availability of Thomas Partey, but Granit Xhaka is out. Kieran Tierney is expected to return to the XI.
