Real Madrid keeping an eye on Fabio Carvalho

Real Madrid are always on the search for the stars of the future, and that has led them to consider a move for Fulham playmaker Fabio Carvalho.

The 19-year-old is one of the brightest talents in English football, but he has rejected all of Fulham's contract renewal offers, so his future at Craven Cottage is now in serious doubt.

According to the Sun, Real Madrid are waiting the wings and are considering a move that would see Carvalho head to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

The Lisbon-born prodigy has made a total of 12 appearances for Fulham's first team, with six of those coming so far this season. In those six matches, Carvalho scored three goals and provided one assist.

Carvalho seems to be holding out for an offer from a top club, and Fulham could be prepared to sell him as early in January in order to avoid losing him for free next summer.

Return from injury

Carvalho had a blistering start to the 2021/22 season with three goals and an assist before suffering a foot injury that would keep him off the pitch for a number of games.

On Saturday, October 30, he returned to action in Fulham's 3-0 victory over West Brom.
