Seattle Seahawks reportedly discussed taking on Odell Beckham Jr.

Actualizado

Odell Beckham Jr. could be heading to the west coast amid reports that Seattle Seahawks have discussed claiming the wide receiver, who was on the waiver list until Tuesday after being dropped by the Cleveland Browns.

The Seahawks have had "internal discussions" about placing a waiver claim on the wide receiver, according to ESPN., but when asked on Monday whether the former Browns and New York Giants player is a possible pick for the team, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was ambiguous, saying "I didn't say yes or I didn't say no, that's cause, you'll see".

Seattle was No. 9 in the NFL's current waiver order entering Week 10, but with Tuesday's waiver deadline having passed, Beckham Jr. is now a free agent and can choose to strike a new contract from scratch with any team.

However, the wide receiver has also reportedly expressed an interest in joining the Green Bay Packers, the team that is tackling the negative fallout from quarterback and NFL's current MVP Aaron Rodgers' admittance that he is not vaccinated, and who is currently on the bench after having tested positive for COVID-19.
