Sergio Ramos can see light at the end of the tunnel

Sergio Ramos' nightmare start to life as a Paris Saint-Germain appears to have an end in sight and a happy one at that as the former Real Madrid captain has now joined in full training with his new teammates.

The Spaniard has been plagued by various injury problems since before his arrival in Paris, delaying his highly-anticipated debut, but he took a key step towards that goal on Tuesday.

With many of the PSG first-team squad away on international duty, Ramos formed part of a reduced group on the training pitch, which included the likes of Ander Herrera and Juan Bernat.

In 2021/22 so far, the defender has missed more than 14 games between Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Champions League commitments for the Parisian side. Rumours had even begun to circulate suggesting that he would never make his debut and that there would be a parting of the ways.

Now, though, Ramos can see light at the end of the tunnel and, all going to plan, soon he could be available for selection.

After the international break, the games come thick and fast for the French club, including a trip to Manchester City on November 24 and key Ligue 1 games against Lens and Nice in early December.
