Sergio Ramos named in PSG squad for the first time to face Manchester City

Sergio Ramos has been named in Paris Saint-Germain's matchday squad for the first time since joining the club in the summer, for Tuesday's game against Manchester City in the Champions League.

The Spaniard has suffered a series of physical problems which have prevented him from making his debut with his new side.

Ramos played his last official match on May 5, when Real Madrid lost to Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

But whether Ramos will feature at the Etihad Stadium is still uncertain, according to PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino.

"I don't know. It is important to see his progress," he said in the pre-match press conference.

"One thing is to be able to train and it's another to be at the level to be competitive, it is not the same."

The former Real Madrid captain has been training with the rest of his teammates in recent days, and it remains to be seen whether he will finally make his first team bow with PSG.
