The Tennessee Titans will face the San Francisco 49ers this today, December 23 at Nissan Stadium to play a to kickoff Week 16 of the NFL.

On the other hand, the 49ers (8-6) ranks 3rd in the NFC West. In Week 15 they faced the Atlanta Falcons (6-8) at Levi's Stadium, where they won by 31 to 13. Jimmy Garoppolo completed 18 of 23 attempted passes (235 yards), threw a touchdown pass and was not intercepted.

With three games remaining in the regular season, San Francisco ranks as the sixth seed in the NFC with an 8-6 record. Beating Tennessee today would make it harder for other teams top the 49ers and instead leave multiple clubs battling for seventh place.

As for the Titans, Tennessee is struggling to build its offense without any of its stars. Running back D'Onta Foreman has been excellent for the past two weeks.

The Titans' performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers was very concerning. They are projected to win back star catcher AJ Brown for this one, but it remains to be seen if he can carry the load enough for them to return to victory.
