Jovic shows Bale and Hazard that anything is possible at Real Madrid

It may have taken Luka Jovic longer to adapt to life at Real Madrid than everyone may have expected, but the Serbian striker has shown in the last two games that he can deliver on the pitch.

Carlo Ancelotti has explained to his players which role each of them will undertake this season and, although Jovic has grabbed his opportunity, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale have not managed to do so.

Jovic hadn't started in a single game before Tuesday's match against Inter, but after his solid display off the bench away at Real Sociedad and following Karim Benzema's injury, the Serbia international earned a spot in the starting XI against the Nerazzurri.

Something similar happened with Mariano Diaz a few weeks ago too, as Ancelotti gave him the nod against Elche and the Spanish forward delivered, despite not netting a goal.

Following his morale-boosting outing at the Reale Arena last Saturday, Jovic put in a complete performance against Inter, as he combined well with his teammates in attack and pitched in when Real Madrid needed to circulate the ball in the final third.

Despite their congested calendar, Los Blancos are improving game by game, combining important victories with good football.

Good news for Real Madrid

Meanwhile, Jovic has rediscovered his form, Marco Asensio is scoring off the bench, Eder Militao is producing solid displays in defence, Toni Kroos is dictating the tempo in midfield, and Vinicius Junior is being more clinical than ever in front of goal.
