PSG's January clear-out: Icardi, Rafinha, Kurzawa, Sergio Rico...

Paris Saint-Germain are expecting to have a busy winter, particularly when it comes to departures.

Mauricio Pochettino saw a lot of new players arrive to work under his orders over the summer and they currently have as many as 35 players on their books.

Now, as per L'Equipe, PSG are looking to offload a number of their more peripheral players once the transfer window opens in January. The club want to sell at least four of their players this winter.

Mauro Icardi

The Argentine has fallen down the pecking order, as would have been expected following Lionel Messi's arrival. His public fallout with Wanda Nara didn't help things as he missed out on a lot of football as a result, but the club want to get at least 50 million euros for him.

They know it will be hard to bring in that much, so if they don't offload him he'll stay as fourth choice in attack.

Rafinha Alcantara

The Spanish midfielder is anonymous this season, getting just 220 minutes under his belt.

L'Equipe have said that Pochettino isn't keen on him and his departure is likely this winter.

Sergio Rico

Goalkeeper Sergio Rico is now third choice after Gianluigi Donnarumma's arrival, but he has a contact until 2024 with a considerable salary.

It could be hard to move him on, but the Ligue 1 leaders will try.

Kurzawa, Diallo, Dagba, Edimbe...

Layvin Kurzawa's situation is the most complicated, as the club tried to push him out over the summer. He was an option in Juan Bernat's absence, but Nuno Mendes' late arrival set him back again.

Other players, Abdou Diallo for one, are also expected to move on. The 25-year-old's exit isn't a priority, but he has interest in England and will be sold if an acceptable offer arrives.

Dagba and Edimbe are players the club have long-term plans for, but they could leave on loan in order to get more minutes.
