Barcelona face three chaotic weeks

With the start of April just around the corner, Barcelona know that the first three weeks of the new month will be decisive. The Blaugrana are in the final stretch of the season and their calendar is extremely full over the weeks ahead. With seven matches in 21 days, the upcoming fixtures will prove decisive in their respective Europa League and LaLiga Santander campaigns.

Many of the Barcelona players have not been on international duty during this international break, so Xavi Hernandez has ensured that they have been well rested ahead of a crucial period.

The team's marathon begins on Sunday, as they welcome Sevilla to the Camp Nou in a key match in the race for the LaLiga Santander title, as Sevilla sit three points above Barcelona in second place.

Next week sees Barcelona travel to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, April 7, for the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

Then, they will face a Levante side desperate for points at the foot of the table at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia on Sunday, April 10, before the return leg against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, April 14.

Barcelona's game in hand

The week beginning on Monday, April 18, will also be busy for Xavi's side, as they face three matches in seven days.

Barcelona begin that week by facing a Cadiz side at home who are fighting relegation, before travelling to the Reale Arena to take on Real Sociedad on Thursday, April 21.

On Sunday April 24, they will play their game in hand against Rayo Vallecano at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona face a key run of fixtures in their quest to secure the LaLiga Santander title and win the Europa League.

Should they defeat Eintracht Frankfurt, the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals will take place on Thursday, April 28.
