Jake Paul's new threat to Connor McGregor: Train for six months in MMA and beat him in the Octagon

If one thing is clear about Jake Paul's career, besides being a fan of controversy and attention, it's that he has never been intimidated by new challenges, no matter how risky or crazy they may seem, and this Monday he returned to that pattern with a highly unique retro challenge against UFC star Connor McGregor of Ireland.

Throughout his boxing career, he has challenged McGregor on multiple occasions to put on the gloves and step into the ring to fight with closed fists only, but now he has threatened to make the fight in the Irishman's specialty.

Jake Paul's proposal

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Jake Paul said that he is willing to start preparing to fight in an octagon with his rival and that he doesn't need much time to be ready to beat him.

"Who said I'm not worried? He's been at it for 15 years," Paul said. "But I know I have a great chance given I'm rising and he's declining. I will spend six months, morning, day and night training with the best MMA coaches in the world and put myself in a position to win. I'm just built different."

Willing to donate his salary if he loses

Paul went further, saying he would donate his entire salary for the hypothetical fight if he loses to MMA fighters who are paid less than $50,000 per fight, provided UFC President Dana White agrees that if he wins, then he would be obligated to create a health insurance scheme for his fighters and raise the minimum salary from $12,000 to $50,000 per fight.

In addition, Paul said he is willing for the fight to be held either in Ireland or at Wembley Stadium in London, England and even said it would break the Pay-Per-View record for a pay-per-view in excess of $4 million.
