Zion Williamson makes an unreal dunk amid New Orleans Pelicans' recent news (VIDEO)

The recent news about Zion Williamson sent the entireNew Orleans Pelicans fan base on a frenesi, they were really hoping for him to return for at least the last 10 games of the season. There had been several reports of the young star completely recovered from his ankle surgery as he keeps telling his closest circle that he is ready to return to activity. But the team's management is not willing to risk him getting injured again, especially with so few games left in the regular season. At the moment, Zion's absence has left the Pelicans with a ghastly 30-42 record so far after the recent three-point loss against the Charlotte Hornets. These recent defeats have Zion quite desperate to help out his team, he looks at his return this season as a perfect way to warm himself up for the next one. But the team's owners won't agree to it.

Zion pushes the team through a nasty dunk video.

As a way to put the fans against the team's management, Zion Williamson decided to respond to the news from early on Tuesday with his own form of protest. He uploaded a video of a dunk he made completely shirtless, in great shape and ready to play tomorrow. The dunk he made would've easily won this season's dunk contest against any of the other competitors. In the video, Zion bounces the ball off the backboard and then takes it under his leg before producing a filthy dunk for his followers to enjoy. Needless to say, the reactions from all the fans were overwhelming as they demanded Williamson to return to play ASAP.

But the response from the Pelicans might not be what Zion or his fans expect, for they don't see the reward in risking their best asset in a season that feels completely lost for them. Over the next couple of weeks we will see a new power struggle with Zion posting more videos on a regular bases proving he is truly back to his best form. Should the Pelicans continue to ignore his pleas, there is a good chance Zion will feel that lack of motivation from his own team. Whether they listen to him or not, it is clear that Zion Williamson seems fully recovered. Meaning his return to full activity at his best level is closer then ever before.
