Now Cubs and Brewers clear the bench due to hit-by-pitch (VIDEO)

Once again the benches of the ballpark were cleared, this time it was in the game held in Chicago Cubs' Wrigley field when they met the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday.

In the top of the ninth episode and with two outs while the Cubs were showing supreme dominance over the Brewers with an outstanding 9-0 lead, Cubs pitcher Keegan Thompson threw a pitch that changed the intended direction hitting Brewers Andrew McCutchen in the hip while he was at the plate.

McCutchen started verbally slamming while taking his gear off, and then the Brewers bench started coming out onto the field, the Cubs did the same and met at the fist-base line.

Both umpires and members of each team prevented the escalation of the incident and everything ended in peace, with the expulsion of Thompson from the game.

There are rumors that the pitchers are having trouble controlling the introduced balls regulated by the MLB since 2021.

The brewers were not the only ones getting hit, catcher Wilson Contreras was also hit by the brewers 15 times in 85 games. He has been one of the most outspoken team members regarding getting hit, he declared that in the same sense the Brewers were not trying to hit him intentionally.

He also mentioned "But like I said before if you don't have the command to go in, just don't go because you're going to get somebody hurt. And I'm not trying to get hurt by a hit-by-pitch.

I get it, like, it's cold, they don't have the same grip. But I'm just saying, if I'm realizing that I don't have the command of the fastball to go in, I just don't go in

Both Cubs and Brewers cleared their benches last April at the same venue when Contreras was hit. And like this time, no punches were thrown.
