Tyson Fury praises Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, the Briton hopes to see the Mexican's next fight

Tyson Fury, World Boxing Council heavyweight world champion talked about Saul "Canelo" Alvarez before the defense of his crown against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, England.

"I watch Canelo's fights, he's a great fighter. Very entertaining. I'd like to attend his fight against Dmitry Bivol in Las Vegas," the Brit said in an interview with ESPN.

"Alvarez has a lot of support. The people in Mexico are very good, hard-working people. One of my trainers, Jorge Capetillo, is from Mexico. I love the Mexican culture. They have given great fighters. It's a nation that fights, that loves boxing," commented the champion.

Canelo will fight against Russian Dimitry Bivol on May 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Mexican will move up to the semi-complete category.

Fury vs. Whyte.

Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) will defend his crown against interim WBC champion Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) in front of a boxing crowd of 94,000. The showdown against Whyte will mark Fury's first fight in London since February 2015.

For this fight, the WBC created the "Union Belt", a masterpiece, to celebrate and commemorate the United Kingdom through this great fight.

This Friday both warriors were face to face at the official weigh-in of the evening. Fury clocked in at 264.8 pounds, while Whyte was 253.3 pounds.
