Will it be the end of Kevin Durant with the Nets if they get swept by the Celtics?

Troubled waters are descending on one of New York's franchises. This time it is not the Knicks who are in the spotlight for their sports problems, but the Brooklyn Nets. The Steve Nash-led team is struggling in the postseason and only one more loss against the Boston Celtics separates them from being eliminated from the Playoff series.

A first round elimination would have fatal consequences for one of the projects with the highest expectations at the beginning of the season. Their star Kevin Durant would be ready to leave the franchise if he receives the 4-0 against at the end of the series.

Information from Kendrick Perkins

So confessed a former teammate of his in Oklahoma City Thunder as Kendrick Perkins. Now in the media, the wayward commentator blurted out a statement that, if true, would shake the NBA once again.

"These Nets made Kevin Durant quit. He had no interest in playing this game," Perkins revealed on NBC Sports in the wake of yet another stumble against the 'Proud Greens'.

Kevin Durant's bad numbers

The truth is that the numbers of 'KD' were not really what we are used to. In 46 minutes on the court he scored 16 points with only 11 field goals attempted.

In addition, the former NBA MVP has been going through knee problems that have kept him away from the court during the All-Star period. Now he will fight to avoid what has never happened to him: falling in the first round without getting a win in the first round.
