Jake Paul says that the claims of his next fight being fixed are ridiculous



After a lot of talk it appears that the Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. fight will continue as scheduled, after this Wednesday's press conference, where both fighters addesed the media and had a few words for their opponent.

The 25 year old Youtube star turned boxer, Jake Paul also slammed those who believe this fight is fixed, due to his past relationship with Rahman Jr., with whom he had sparring sessions before.

"It's f*****ng ridiculous. It's illegal to do that, first and foremost", he told the reporters in the room.

Jake Paul blames the haters for this nonesense

He went on to point out that sparring partners oftenly meet each other in an official fight throught the sport.

"Look at Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez, Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury, this is a common thing."

For him there's only one explanation to this conspiracy theories.

"Anybody who thinks that, are obviously the Jake Paul haters that want to discredit anything that I'm doing", he insisted.

Jake Paul praised Rahman's pride

"They have so much pride and ego and there's real tension, you can feel thet energy in the room"

Rahman Hasim Sr. fought some serious names during his prime, such as Evander HolyfieldWladimir Klitschko and Lennox Lewis.

In 2001 he won his bout against Lewis to win the heavyweight world champion belt.

Paul's opponent, Hasim Rahman Jr. also said that the idea of the fight being fixed is crazy.

"When my father was fighting Evander Holyfield, he had a hematoma on his head the size of a cantaloupe. He put his life on the line in this sport", further expanding on his family's pride inside a ring.

He claims he's going to go out there and put his best foot forward, because boxing has given him everything throughout his life.

"Do you really think I'm going to disrespect the sport I love, that put me through private school? The sport that has afforded me not to want for anything?"
