Chicharito and Moreno, the meeting of two Mexicans who dream big things

Just as Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez asked one day to imagine big things surely that's what fighter Brandon Moreno did. Both Mexican sports figures met in Los Angeles and spent a few minutes together.

During an L.A. team training session, the two figures who have made history for their country, one as the top scorer in the Mexican National Team, in which he is not considered now, and the other the first UFC champion born in Mexico, were able to meet.

"The Assassin Baby" arrived accompanied by his wife and daughters to meet the LA Galaxy player, with whom he had the opportunity to chat for a few minutes.

"The soccer player told the mixed martial arts fighter when he saw him arrive wearing the LA Galaxy jersey; grateful to be received, Chicharito told him that it was no bother to be with him for a few minutes.

While Brandon's wife was telling one of his daughters to greet Chicharito, Brandon interrupted and said: "his name is not Chicharito, his name is Javier", to which the soccer player responded with a smile, "you can call me Chicharito, don't worry", and then he took a picture with her and Brandon.

Brandon gave a pair of gloves to Chicharito, who wants to see him fight live

The UFC interim flyweight champion gave him a pair of gloves, identical to the ones he uses in his fights, and someone said: "show him how Brandon", to which Chicharito replied: "no, why, as a good soccer player I run".

While Brandon explained the hand protection issues and the bandage they use, Chicharito put on a UFC glove and Brandon the other to take a picture and finish the video shared by the mixed martial arts company.

Chicharito confessed to "The Assassin Baby" that he has never been in an arena to see UFC fights, and told him that the first time he does, he wants it to be in a Brandon fight, which the Tijuana fighter appreciated.

What is the current status of Chicharito and Brandon Moreno?

While Chicharito continues to score goals with the LA Galaxy, but practically ruled out for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, he has not had one of his best seasons and neither has the MLS team. A few days ago he scored a "Panenka-like" goal.

Brandon Moreno, meanwhile, defeated Kai Kara-France on July 30 with a lethal kick to the liver to become UFC interim flyweight champion, which will allow him to challenge Deiveson Figueiredo, current champion, to unify the title, a fight they want to make this year.
