Barcelona player ratings vs Inter: Elimination if not for Ter Stegen

In what was a must win for Barcelona, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Robert Lewandowski led the way for the Blaugrana against Inter.

The Polish international scored a crucial brace to avoid defeat and elimination, while the German's lat save on Kristjan Asllani prevented what would have been a disastrous result for Xavi's men.

The German made some key saves on Mkhitaryan and Dumfries, and also saved the 3-3 result with a last-minute stop on Asllani.

Played as right-back but pushed forward when Barcelona had the ball. Tested Onana and set up Dembele for the goal, before exiting after 72 minutes.

Attentive for most of the night, but fell asleep when it mattered, like when Inter took the lead through Lautaro

Started strong but the mistake he made on Barella's goal can't be understated. Also lost track of Dumfries later on.

Didn't attack as much as Sergi Roberto. Tried a shot from distance before exiting in the 72nd minute.

After a great first half, he made several mistakes after the restart. One of them led to Lautaro's goal, and he was subbed off soon after.

Put in a solid performance thanks to his range of passing.

Played further up the field in order to make his presence felt in attack, but it didn't have the desired effect. Had a great chance in the second half but failed to finish.

Started slowly but once he settled, he combined with Lewandowski on more than one occasion. Scored the opener and continued to impress late on.

Barcelona attacked more regularly down his wing, and he played a key role in Dembele's opener. However his energy level dropped and he was subbed in the 64th.

Saw an early attempt cleared off the line by Mkhitaryan, but made up for it with two late goals that keep Barcelona's faint hopes of going through alive.

Came on but was not at his best. Had little impact on the match.

Same goes for De Jong. The Dutchman doesn't look like the player seen in previous seasons.

Came on for Marcos Alonso and gave Barcelona more of a presence in attack.

Came on in the 72nd minute but made several mistakes with the ball.

Came on for Gavi in the closing minutes.

Played his strongest side, but Barcelona's problems in defence were evident for all to see.
