Did OBJ lose his chance to play for Cowboys after airport scandal?

The story of spectacular wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s next team has taken several unexpected turns lately, the biggest of which occurred on Sunday when he was kicked off an American Airlines flight after not answering the call to put on his seatbelt, despite conflicting accounts of the reasons why this happened, it apparently hasn't dampened the Dallas Cowboys' interest in him.

In a press conference, the head coach of "America's Team", Mike McCarthy was asked if the scandal in which the Miami Police accused OBJ of losing consciousness and refusing to obey the plane's authorities, had ended the Cowboys' intentions to acquire the services of the former player of the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams.

Are the Cowboys still interested in Odell Beckham Jr?

"Really haven't been involved with in the conversation," McCarthy said. "But I know personally based off of my understanding, I think we're moving full steam ahead."

It's worth remembering that the Cowboys, along with the Giants have been mentioned as the two teams favored to sign OBJ, who hasn't been active since he was injured in the first half of the Rams' win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.

Beckham who ended up tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in that game, used his own Twitter account to give his version of events that occurred at Miami International Airport.

OBJ's version of the scandal at the Airport

"I didn't kno I couldn't fall asleep before take off when I boarding first and the flight was delayed 30 mins," Beckham wrote on Twitter. "I had a flight to catch when I landed in LA as well. Simple shxt. I feel asleep before taking off. MAKE IT MAKE SENSEE.... And they were zero sleepin pills / drugs. None of that bullshxt I will not allow my name to be tarnished or disrespected. I had a long miami night. I was exhausted. And went to sleep."
