How did Tom Brady's 57th career game-winning comeback happen?

James Connor had scored the first touchdown of the game with 10:53 to play on 22-yard carry, however, from there Brady and company scored 10 unanswered points in the fourth period to take the game into overtime.

In overtime, Arizona was stopped on its first drive and Brady led an offensive series that was capitalized on with a 40-yard field goal by Ryan Succop to seal the win for Tampa Bay.

Despite the win, the seven-time Super Bowl winner racked up his third consecutive game with at least two interceptions with a pair of his throws being caught by cornerback Marco Wilson.

Brady notched the 57th comeback of his glorious career after trailing in the 4th quarter or overtime, increasing his own all-time NFL mark.

Buccaneers one win away from returning to the playoffs

Brady's difficult season could have a happy ending because with the victory they have maintained the leadership of the NFC South and have their destiny in their hands since, if they beat the Carolina Panthers at Raymond James Stadium, they would be crowned champions of their division to have a place in the next playoffs.

Arizona had to use its third starting quarterback in as many games, Trace McSorley got his first opportunity to open a game in his fourth NFL season after spending his first three years on the Baltimore Ravens' bench.

McSorley got this opportunity after injuries to starter Kyler Murray in the Week 14 Monday Night Football loss to the New England Patriots and Colt McCoy in the Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos.

What's next for the Buccaneers and the Cardinals?

As previously mentioned, Tampa Bay's (7-8) next game will be against Carolina on January 1, and Arizona (4-11) will return to the gridiron that same day when it visits the Atlanta Falcons.
