The Masters' final round was the most watched golf broadcast since 2018 with over 16.3 million viewers

The 2023 edition of The Masters at Augusta National was affected by rain, but it might've been a blessing in disguise as the third and final rounds were played on Sunday, giving golf fans more than 18 holes to watch between the leaders, as Jon Rahm chopped Brooks Koepka's lead and turned it into his first green jacket by the end of the day.

Now it's been reported that over 16 million people watched Rahm win The Masters on Sunday, being the largest golf broadcast since this exact same tournament in 2018, when Patrick Reed took the victory in a battle with Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and this year's winner.

The final round of The Masters this year was up 19% from the 2022 edition of the tournament, averaging 12.1 million viewers in 2023, with the broadcast peaking to 15 million during Jon Rahm's green jacket ceremony.

LIV Golf had several of their players in the top spots, including Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson, who finished tied for second place, four strokes behind the Spaniard.
