Jake Paul and Nate Diaz agree to undergo drug testing ahead of fight

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz are reportedly expected to undergo VADA drug testing ahead of the upcoming fight between the two men this summer.

The two men have repeatedly accused each other of using doping substances in the past. Yet, it has to be noted that neither Paul nor Diaz have ever returned positive drug results in the past.

According to Mirror Fighting, the two men have agreed to be randomly tested by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency before their bout in August.

The last time Paul underwent drug testing was before his fight against Tommy Fury in February. As for Diaz, the UFC fighter did undergo random USADA checks for the last seven years.

"12 rounds," Diaz wrote las Friday, asking their fight to be 12-rounder rather than eight-round. "Ur [sic] on steroids so let's put that s*** to work."

Paul did remind Diaz that he was almost forced to miss his 2019 Madison Square Garden headliner with Jorge Masvidal due to a failed drug test.

"You speaking to me Nathan?" Paul said.

"We haven't forgotten that you tested positive for steroids. You and your boyfriend Connor [ Conor McGregor] are juice heads.

"Let's do 15 rounds and see how good those cannabis corroded lungs are. VADA going to be coming to Stockton to slap you up."

However, the USADA cleared Diaz's name of an anti-doping violation.

"There was never a thought in my mind that Nate would cheat," UFC president Dana White said at the time.

"And I never doubted for a second that this fight wasn't going to happen. The team did a great job looking into this and I'll see you guys in New York [on Nov. 2]."

Adblock test (Why?)
