Hirscher picks up 7th Overall World Cup victory in a row

Marcel Hirscher is the overall World Cup winner of the season 2017/18 and gets his seventh big crystal globe in a row!

The Salzburger wins the slalom in Kranjska Gora and thus fixes also the fifth globe in slalom.

Hirscher was faster with 1.22 seconds than Henrik Kristoffersen (NOR) after another show of strength. It's his twelfth World Cup victory this season.

With 289 points lead in the overall World Cup and although there are still a total of six races in Kvitfjell and Aare, Hirscher becomes champion very early.
