NBA Draft 2018: Phoenix chooses Ayton as number 1


The Phoenix Suns make Deandre Ayton the number 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

As expected, the Center from Bahamas is the first to be drawn and is already well acquainted with the desert state, eventually playing for the Arizona Wildcats at college for which he scored an average of 20.1 points and 11.6 rebounds.

The Sacramento Kings choose number 2 Power Forward Marvon Bagley III.

Slovenian shooting guard Luka Doncic arrives at number 3 via trade with the Dallas Mavericks. In return, the Atlanta Hawks will receive the Point Guard Trae Young picked at number 5 and a first-round pick in the 2019 draft.

The Memphis Grizzlies get number four with Jaren Jackson Jr. a new hope on the power forward position.

Two Germans were picked by the Los Angeles Lakers. At position 25 of the first round Moritz Wagner, in the second round via Philadelphia Isaac Bonga.
