For some years, the Tour of Italy is considered the most topographically interesting stage race. The Giro d'Italia 2019 will also provide a good deal of excitement. Especially responsible are the numerous mountain stages. Seven of them are held in the high mountains, including well-known climbs, such as the Gavia, the Mortirolo and the Manghen Pass.

All in all, the pros have to travel 3,518 kilometers before they can look back on the three-week tour after the time trial in Verona.
