Rapid Vienna is in the Austrian Cup semi-final after 5-2 against TSV Hartberg

Vienna - Rapid has reached the semi-finals of the ÖFB-Cup for the third time in a row.

The Viennese put on Sunday at home against Hartberg easily with 5: 2 (1: 0) by. In the semi-final, the green whites have to go to the LASK, GAK meets Red Bull Salzburg.

Thanks to double packs by Thomas Murg (42nd, 91st) and Andrija Pavlovic (49th, 74th) and a goal by Maximilian Hofmann (52nd), Rapid already threw the third Bundesliga team out of the competition. Hartberg, who sensationally won 3-0 in the league against Rapid, was far from a recent surprise in front of 12,700 spectators. An own goal by Manuel Martic (69.) and a goal by Siegfried Rasswalder (87.) did not change the fate of the game.

The safe ascent keeps Rapid probably in a positive direction for the league derby against Salzburg on Sunday.

Goals: 1: 0 (42.) Murg 2: 0 (50.) Pavlovic 3: 0 (52.) Hofmann 3: 1 (69.) Martic (own goal) 4: 1 (74.) Pavlovic 4: 2 (87 .) Rasswalder 5: 2 (91.) Murg
