Miami Open: Roger Federer wins his 101st title


Roger Federer wins the Miami Open for the fourth time. The former world ranking first defeated defending champion John Isner from the USA confidently with 6: 1 and 6: 4.

In his 50th final of a Masters tournament, the Swiss needed just one hour and three minutes to win against the serve specialist.

For Federer it was the sixth triumph in the eighth duel with Isner.

At the beginning of March, 37-year-old Federer celebrated his 100th title in Dubai. He is now the only professional tennis player to win two tournaments this year.

In the world ranking Federer improves with his success in Miami in fourth place, in the annual standings, he even takes the lead.
