Camavinga in for Modric, who isn't even on the bench

Eduardo Camavinga is back in a Real Madrid starting line-up, taking the place of Luka Modric for Saturday night's LaLiga Santander match against Rayo Vallecano. The Croatian isn't even on the bench, as he has dropped out of the squad because he isn't feeling well.

Eden Hazard isn't in the starting XI either, but will be on the bench. There had been an expectation that the Belgian could start this game, but instead it's Marco Asensio who takes the spot on the right of midfield. Elsewhere, the line-up is as expected.

As for Rayo Vallecano, Radamel Falcao doesn't start the match. Instead, it's Randy Nteka who gets the nod to lead the line.

The Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano confirmed line-ups

The Real Madrid starting XI is as follows: Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy; Eduardo Camavinga, Casemiro, Toni Kroos; Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema, Vinicius.
