Reggie Jackson and Clippers deal Pistons fifth loss in a row

The losing streak of the Detroit Pistons does not stop and this Friday in their visit to the Staples Center they suffered their fifth consecutive defeat when they were beaten by the LA Clippers 107-96, who had Reggie Jackson as their most lethal weapon.

The guard, 31, commanded the Clippers' attack with 21 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds, including a three-pointer with 1:12 to go, which increased the home team's lead and ended the hopes of his former team, as he played for the Pistons from 2015 to 2020.

Eric Bledsoe was on fire in the first quarter, scoring 11 straight points to help the Clippers take a 13-4 lead, increasing it 64-40 at halftime before extending it to a 29-point difference midway through the third quarter.

Detroit strung together a 21-8 run late in the final quarter and cut the deficit by more than half.

Jackson missed his first five shots, but was 8 of 14 the rest of the way. Terance Mann added 16 points and tied a career high with 10 rebounds. Bledsoe had 15 points after scoring 15 combined in his last four games.

For Detroit, Jerami Grant had 20 points and 10 rebounds. Trey Lyles added 13 points.

Isaiah Stewart returned from his two game suspension after being involved in an altercation with the Lakers' LeBron James and had four points and 10 rebounds.
