Dana White responds to Conor McGregor's demands to fight Usman

Even though he is retired from the game as he lives large with his many businesses, Conor McGregor still has a running UFC contract with Dana White. Any fight he is involved in tends to deliver incredible pay-per-view numbers, the Irishman is always a safe bet for the UFC president. So, he very rarely denies him any opponent because he knows the sells will deliver. Conor is currently in his home country but he is scheduled to travel to Vegas for a meeting where they will discuss their next step. We can't forget that Conor just lost two consecutive fights against Dustin Poirier in the Lightweight division. With that in mind, Conor has been increasing his muscle mass over the last few months.

With his most recent comments about where he sees himself in the UFC, it's clear MCGregor has one fighter in mind. During a recent interview with The Mac Life on Youtube, Conor confirmed all he cares about is fighting Kamaru Usman in the Welterweight division. In previous years, we know how Conor did when he fought Nate Diaz in that division and how much he struggled to get to 170 lb. But this recent conditioning has been more consistent over the months, it's almost as if Conor plans to remain big for the forseeable future. If this happens, there's a good chance Dana White could entertain the idea of giving him a title shot against Usman.

Dana responds to McGregor's demands.

Here's what Conor said: "I believe versus Usman for the 170-pound title for my comeback is the one I'm eyeballing at the minute. "And I feel confident against Usman. A jab happy, sloppy, orthodox wrestler with no submissions whatsoever. What's he gonna do? Where's the danger here? I don't see a danger with him." This is what Dana responded when he heard what Conor said: "Yeah, it's interesting, I hadn't heard that. He's coming into Vegas, we're getting together and we're gonna talk. We'll see what's next... Any Conor fight is good money-wise." But the best answer was short and sweet from Kamaru Usman himself, he just posted the following tweet.
