Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini debut: LAFC party in Nashville



Los Angeles FC had a historic night in their MLS matchday 21 game, winning 2-1 at Nashville SC, however, the result can be considered anecdotal as the highlight was the debut of both Welsh striker Gareth Bale and Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.

How were the debuts of Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini?

Bale was not part of Steve Chrundolo's Starting XI, who on the other hand did send Chillini to the field, however, all the attendees at Geodis Park used their cell phones to capture the moment when Bale entered the field and in the 20 minutes he was on the field, he did not generate danger but he did stand out for a spectacular back-heel pass in the first occasion he touched the ball.

Chiellini had 60 minutes of activity before being the first to leave the field for substitution, he looked good physically and did not make mistakes in defense, Cherundolo decided to rest him to avoid an injury for the Italian veteran.

After this result, the black and gold team reached 42 points, surpassing Austin FC as leader of the Western Conference and the team with the best production in the entire MLS, while Nashville SC fell to fifth place in the same classification with 30 points.
