Boy suspended from school for getting Ronaldo 2002 World Cup haircut

A 12-year-old boy was suspended from school after deciding to get the famous Ronaldo Nazario haircut from the 2022 World Cup following England's 6-2 victory over Iran in their 2022 World Cup opener in Qatar earlier this week.

Alfie Ransom's mother Emma Shaw claimed that she received a call from his school to be informed that her son was expelled due to his haircut.

"Nowadays, schools are all about accepting people for who they are and encouraging people to be unique and themselves," Shaw said.

"How is this any different?

"Even since I was a kid, there were always trends according to what pop stars and celebrities were doing- we would go crazy for the stars.

"He's confident with how he looks now and I don't want to force him [to get a full shave].

"However, it is important for him to be in school and if they won't let him back until it's shaved, I don't know what to do.

"Alfie's friends loved the haircut. He likes school and wanted to go as normal but he won't be allowed to go back until he's shaved it all off, which is ridiculous because it won't affect his learning one bit."
