Cowboys achieve most dominant road win in franchise history to snap Vikings streak

The Dallas Cowboys (7-3) defeated the Minnesota Vikings (8-2) Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in the franchise's most dominant road win of all time.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott silenced doubters by throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns without an interception on 22-for-25 completions, helping snap the opponent's seven-game winning streak.

Prescott, 29, found running back Tony Pollard twice through the air for a pair of touchdowns.

Pollard, 25, finished the game with 109 receiving yards on six catches and 80 rushing yards on 15 carries.

Ezekiell Elliott joined the fun with 42 yards and two TDs on 15 rush attempts, while kicker Brett Maher picked up the other points on the board for Dallas by scoring his four field goal tries.

Dallas Cowboys defense shuts down Justin Jefferson

The Cowboys defense recorded seven sacks, two of them by linebacker Micah Parsons, who continues to be a force for head coach Mike McCarthy.

Vikings QB Kirk Cousins was held to just 105 passing yards on 12-for-23 completions, while wide receiver Justin Jefferson only picked up 33 yards on three catches.

An all-around disappointing performance from Minnesota saw Dallas achieve its most dominant road win in franchise history, as the 40-3 score is the biggest points differential in an away victory for the Cowboys.

Dallas will look to continue this dominant performance in its Thanksgiving Day matchup against the New York Giants.

Minnesota, meanwhile, will take on the New England Patriots on Thursday, a team coming off a last-gasp victory.
