No short skirts or low-cut tops for England Wags during the World Cup

Qatar is known for its strict laws on the way women dress in the country and despite playing host to the 2022 World Cup, those rules aren't about to change for anyone.

The wives and girlfriends of the England national football team have been advised to ditch miniskirts and low cut tops when they are out in Qatar supporting their partners.

In addition to their wardrobes, they are also being warned about their behaviour when out in public spaces.

The Daily Mail has reported that the partners of Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and John Stones have received advice from personal stylist Connie Jones about their dress code in Qatar.

WAGS choose to stay on cruise ship

The behaviour of England's 'WAGS' at major tournaments often grabs headlines and not always for the best reasons.

There is always a rife debate as to whether their presence, and late night shenanigans that grab media attention, are a hindrance to the Three Lions' cause.

This time, however, there will be little chance of their antics making the tabloids given Qatar's strict rules.

The wives and girlfriends of England's stars will be spending most of their time aboard a luxury cruise ship, as opposed to being inside the same hotel as their partners.
