NBA All-Star 2023: Which players received the most votes?

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets, and Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors remain, in their respective positions, are the most voted for player by fans for the All-Star game on February 19 in Salt Lake City, according to data provided by the NBA.

Three weeks after the opening of voting, with a deadline of January 21, LeBron and Durant are in the lead in the in the West and East.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, of the Milwaukee Bucks, is 41,932 votes behind Durant, while Jayson Tatum, leader of the Boston Celtics, overtook Joel Embiid, of the Philadelphia 76ers, and is now third.

Participants in the All-Star Game are decided 50 percent depending on fan votes, while the players and media selected weigh 25pc each in the final outcome.

Fans can vote for their favorite players through the NBA app until Jan. 21 at midnight EST.

Those with the so-called 'NBA ID', which offers a number of extra benefits on the NBA app, can vote each day through the app and also on the official website of the league.

The players chosen for the starting five for the All-Star Game will be revealed on January 26 on TNT, which will broadcast the All-Star Game live.
