Real Madrid won't enter an auction for Bellingham

Endrick and Aurelien Tchouameni are two examples of players who turned down more lucrative offers in order to don the Real Madrid shirt.

Los Blancos are aware that they can't afford to match offers made by richer clubs and they have always avoided entering an auction for players.

Jude Bellingham has been already informed of how far Real Madrid can go in financial terms and this is the reason why he is leaning towards joining the LaLiga Santander giants.

For more than a decade, Real Madrid have been clear about the salary limits, which are based on logical economic criteria. Over the last years, no player has been paid more than twelve million euros per season.

Bellingham's message to his fans... And they ask him about Real Madrid

Real Madrid are not going to make an exception with Bellingham. The club's directors are aware that some players, such as Kylian Mbappe, would opt for the highest contract but they are not willing to seduce a footballer by raising their offer.

No exceptions

The limit is set and no one goes beyond it. In time, the contract may be revised, but the starting point is clear.

In sporting terms, what Real Madrid can offer is success, a competitive squad, a respectable and winning coach and a perfectly structured club.

Bellingham's price tag may be high, but Real Madrid tend to be more careful with players' wages in their bid to balance their wage bill.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos believe that the excellent relationship they maintain with Borussia Dortmund will help facilitate an agreement between the two parties.

Dortmund are expected to receive a fixed sum of 110 million euros with more in variables to follow, making Bellingham the most expensive signing in the summer of 2023.
