The inconsistencies between the FIFPro and The Best's XIs

Many have been left very confused by the the eleven voted for at The Best awards when it compared to that of FIFPro.

It is difficult to understand, beyond the fact that everyone's tastes are different. The results of the voting for The Best award have very little to do with the best eleven drawn up by footballers around the world through the FIFPro union.

In the first case, the votes of coaches, captains of each country, journalists and fans are equally definitive. In the FIFPro eleven the players who decide directly. The tastes of the players have little or nothing to do with each other.

The inconsistencies between the FIFPro and The Best's XIs

What they agree on is that Lionel Messi was the best of 2022, but if you compare the list of the fourteen best players for The Best award, you can see that up to seven of them do not appear in the starting eleven for FIFPro.

Sadio Mane, Julian Alvarez, Vinicius Jr, Mohamed Salah, Neymar Jr, Robert Lewandowski and Jude Bellingham do not appear in the eleven, but they are among the fourteen best players in the world in the list for The Best award.

Moreover, the top five in that list do not appear in the list of the 26 chosen to shape the eleven that has been designated as the best of the year.

The list from The Best award is formed by Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Erling Haaland, Mane, Alvarez, Achraf Hakimi, Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne, Vinicius , Lewandowski, Bellingham and Salah.

The case of Thibaut Courtois is striking, as he was a starter of the ideal eleven, but was not chosen as the best. Curiously, something that the goalkeeper himself shared on his social media.
