Inter Miami are on the lookout for Jordi Alba: They want the ex-Barcelona trident

Inter Miami have already secured the signings of Leo Messi and Sergio Busquets, and could add another illustrious Barcelona player: Jordi Alba. There has now already been initial contact with the Catalan left-back and the MLS side intend to intensify talks in the coming days, once the first two deals have been completed and signed.

Alba announced just over a month ago that he would not continue at Barcelona and that he would not complete the remaining year of his contract. He put an end to his second spell as an Azulgrana player without having any firm offer on the table and, therefore, without knowing where he was going to direct his career. A month later, the proposals are piling up, and they are quite varied.

One of the clubs interested in the 34-year-old international defender is Inter Miami. The MLS club showed their interest a few days ago. The club has been looking at the situation and intentions of the veteran full-back from L'Hospitalet, who has not yet made a decision on his future.

The former Valencia player is analysing the different options: to continue in LaLiga Santander, in Europe, to go to Saudi Arabia, to the United States...

The American club is on the prowl. They intend to make a bid for the defender in the next few days. The idea of the institution is to bring Messi, Busquets and Alba together in the same team, as it would be a historic boost to the competition. Bringing together three of the best players in the world in their position, at a time when they can still perform at a good level, is a sign of great ambition from Inter Miami, and that is why they are already preparing their offensive for the left-back.

The player, who is currently on holiday with his family in Ibiza, will not take long to announce his future, although he does not want to rush into anything.

Before making a decision, he wants to have all the proposals well defined, and, in addition, he is still playing at a high level, he has just won the Nations League with the national team, so it is not so clear that he will opt for a less competitive league such as the American one.

In any case, nothing has been decided yet. Playing again with two of his best friends also appeals to him.
