Champions League Matchday 2: Barcelona defeats Tottenham, Real Madrid stunned by CSKA Moscow

FC Barcelona broke free of its small creative crisis on Wednesday in the Champions League. The Catalans won 4-2 thanks to two goals from superstar Lionel Messi, after three league games without a victory in Group H's strike at Tottenham. Paris Saint-Germain also demolished Red Star Belgrade with 6-1 thanks to three goals from Neymar.

The SSC Napoli defeated Liverpool in the top match of the PSG Group after a late goal by Lorenzo Insigne (90). Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are after the second round in Group A on the knockout round course. The Dortmund won against AS Monaco 3-0, the Madrid got the upper hand against Club Brugge with 3-1.

Bayern Munich is now having problems in the Champions League too. Instead of making amends against Ajax Amsterdam for the small crisis in the Bundesliga, the German champions had to settle for an flattering 1: 1 (1: 1). Niko Kovac's team was even lucky not to be a loser in the face of the brave, sprightly and playful Dutch players.

Real Madrid has been waiting for a victory for three competitive games. After losing 3-0 to Sevilla and beating Atlético 1-0 in the Spanish league, the defending champion has now surprisingly lost to CSKA Moscow. The decisive goal of Nikola Vlasic was already scored in the second minute.
