F1: Mick Schumacher becomes test driver for Ferrari

As the Italian edition of Motorsport.com reports, Mick Schumacher could already be in the Ferrari as a test driver in 2019 - 13 years after the last drive of father Michael in the "Red Goddess".

According to Motorsport, the 19-year-old is one of the Ferrari candidates for the test drives that take place during the season (after the races in Bahrain and Barcelona). Two of these four days of testing are designed for junior drivers who have previously raced at most two F1 Grands Prix in their career. Last year, Antonio Giovinazzi completed these tests for the Scuderia. The Italian rides in 2019 together with Kimi Raikkonen for Sauber.

In recent days, Maranello has leaked two names that could be considered as "seasonal workers" at Scuderia. The New Zealander Marcus Armstrong and the name that makes the hearts of all Ferraristi beat faster: Schumacher. First name: Mick.

Schumi Jr. meets all the requirements for Formula 1: As a Formula 3 European champion and future Formula 2 driver, he has the super license for the premier class in the bag. Test drives around the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel would be a huge chance for Schumacher to get to know the Ferrari technology and to recommend himself for higher tasks.
