Sven Kramer gets tenth all-round title at European Speed Skating Championships


The European Speed Skating Championships at the Arena Ritten ended on Sunday.

In the all-around competition, Dutchman Sven Kramer prevailed, taking gold for the tenth time with a margin of less than 0.10 points on his compatriot Patrick Roest.

The women's sprint fight was won by the North Tyrolean Vanessa Herzog, who set a new outdoor record with 151.445 points.

The Russian Daria Kachanova, who mastered the 1000 meters in 1.15.21 minutes, also set a new outdoor record.
