Four Hills Tournament: Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi takes overall victory

Kobayashi was the third ski jumper ever to achieve a fourfold triumph on all hills. The German Markus Eisenbichler reached second place.

The Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi has won the Four Hills Tournament and, as the third ski jumper, has even achieved a quadruple victory on all hills. With jumps on 135 and 137.5 meters, the 22-year-old also won in Bischofshofen, repeating his successes from Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck.

The victory on all four hills previously succeeded only Sven Hannawald and the Pole Kamil Stoch.

Two Germans, Markus Eisenbichler and Stephan Leyhe, achieved rank two and three in the overall standings.
